After penning their newest song “Mr Las Vegas,” they felt a strong and sudden urge to grow  permanent roots in Vegas. The song captures the eternal excitement and tempatation of Las Vegas with a vintage 007 flair and seductive film noir style.

The illusionist from Germany breaks the boundaries of magic

Sometimes keeping one’s head above water can be a tricky thing.

In the case of master magician Jan Rouven, appearing Thursday through Sunday in the Starlight Theater at the Riviera, it also takes incredible skill, as he performs the death-defying illusion of immersing himself underwater, in handcuffs and chains, and attempts to escape, a la Harry Houdini. But acts of this nature are nothing new to Rouven. The talented artist, who when he was coming up often honed his craft on cruise ships, is now constantly looking to make waves when it comes to traditional magic.

“I don’t like to do what others have done before,” Rouven, known for his penchant for cheating death, explains. “I like to top it and be different so even the Water Tank illusion has a surprise ending.
